AECP - Scene Building

Updated: Sep 15, 2020

Woohoo! This is my last AECP project for Level 1.

For this card, I was inspired by a picture I took after a thunderstorm went through. Mother nature does make a beautiful work of art.

I ink blended the background with Distress Oxide inks on a white card stock panel, spattered the panel with water and silver metallic ink to create stars in the distance. Next, I die cut the mountains, ink blended a tree stencil to create a forests like in front of the mountain. I also blended some black ink on the edge on the mountains to create some distinctions.

I stamped a couple of hot air balloons and a sentiment, then cut them out with coordinate die. Afterward, I arranged all die cut pieces and adhered them to the inked panel. I also used foam adhesive to pop up one of the mountain piece to create some dimension. Lastly, I adhered the panel on a white card base and my card was finished.

I really love the results of this card. Hope you like it as much I do. Thank you for stopping by. Have a crafty day :)
