AECP - Polychromatic

Happy Monday crafty friends!
I am sharing this project for AECP level 2 Polychromatic taught by Nina-Marie Trapani. In this class, I have learned so much from how to use multi-color comfortably, to use one color to make your projects shine with various shade. Nina is AMAZING teacher!
I used watercoloring with similar colors to create this project. Let's get started!
I stamped the butterfly from Bejeweled Stamp Set and heat embossed with white Embossing Powder. I also stamped and heat embossed with the Leaf Canopy clusters on an A2 white cardstock panel for the background.
For the butterfly, I colored with Watercolor Brush Marker in Cotton Candy, Rubellite, Purple Wine and Midnight Violet, then die cutting with the coordinate die. For the canopy background, I used the same color combo on the panel. Adding darker color in some area where need it, then splash some splatters to create texture.
For the sentiment, I die cutting in light pink and white cardstock with Essential Sentiment Die Set.
Lastly, I trimmed the panel down to 4" X 5 1/4". Glued the butterfly on the panel, popped the sentiment up with double sized adhesive, embellished with some sequins, and my card is finished.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a lovely day :)
Xoxo,
Mandi
