AECP - In The Mood Of The Color
Updated: Jan 25

Happy hump day friends! Today, I am sharing a AECP project “In The Mood Of Color”. This class is about taking a color and the mood we usually feel with, to translate it into a card. I am choosing Red, which is showing Love today. I really miss my dear friend who moved to Michigan last winter. I was suppose to visit her this past summer, of course under the Covid-19 circumstances, we were not able to meet each other. So, I am trying to apply my feelings into the card and send it to her. Let’s get started.
I stamped and die cut the flower cluster, colored with Copic markers. After coloring, I added some white dots in the center of the flowers. Next, I dry embossed a white card panel with a woodgrain die. Stamped the sentiment and the corner frame directly on the panel. I then foam mounted the flower cluster onto the panel, decorated with a few enamel dots to dress up the finish look. Finally, I trimmed the panel 1/8" down all four sides and adhered the panel on a A2 red card base, and my card is finished.
Thank you for stopping by, please leave any comments or questions. I would love to hear your feedback. Have a lovely day!
xoxo,
Mandi
