AECP - Color Your Day
Hello Crafty friends! It has been a while since I posted on here. I hope anyone is doing well and healthy in the New Year!
Today, I am sharing a AECP project is “ Color Your Day”. This is lesson is about being inspired by colors which can come from things surrounding us everyday. I decided to create this card based on the colors inspired from my dress 👗 😊. Let’s dive into it.
I stamped the flower image and cut out with the coordinating die. I also die cut the sentiment from the same stamp/die set with gold mirror cardstock and personally colored cardstock, in which I used the same brown ink cube for the leaves in order to keep it in the same color family.
For the card base, I used Navy Gold Trim Washi Tape to create a frame like on a A2 size navy cardstock. Then, I made some splatters with gold metallic watercolor to create a little texture.
Finally, I lay some gold thread on the card base and adhered the flower with foam tape to create dimension. Lastly, glued the sentiment on the card base and my card was finished.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a marvelous day 😊
